Learning

What does a lesson on an AI course for kids look like?

A lesson takes around 15 minutes and doesn't feel like a lecture. Your child solves quizzes, reads short stories, drags elements around and builds instructions out of building blocks. Sibot, the guide robot, leads the way through the lesson and reads much of the content aloud. After the lessons, your child completes a project, and a short exam checks what they've learned. Finishing a season earns a certificate.

Safety

Is an AI course safe for children?

Yes, because your child doesn't talk to an open chatbot. Lessons are ready-made activities, and Sibot only answers questions related to the lesson. In the parent dashboard you can see progress, every conversation with Sibot, and any questions Sibot declined to answer. Find out more about how we keep children safe.

Comparison

AI course or coding course?

A coding course teaches children to write code, often with the help of AI. The AI course at Sibot Academy teaches children to understand artificial intelligence: where its answers come from, why it gets things wrong, and what not to tell it. If your child already uses ChatGPT or Gemini, start with understanding AI. Have a look at our guide articles on AI and children for more on choosing the right first step.
